New Job!! – Fundació CIM

Looks like i will be sculpting a big variety of action figures, using Zbrush, to be printed out in 3D with resin, using a 3D printer, for toy molds. The company who hired these services is Comansi, one of the biggest toy companies in Spain.

I am really excited about this job since I can keep working with Zbrush (which I love) but doing it for a totally different final product, which is always a challenge. I can’t wait to see my first 3D model printed out in 3D. I’ll post some pictures as soon as I am allowed to do it… confidentiality stuff… you know :)

1 year at Biworld3D

After some real time projects developed on Torque3D I had a great chance to lead a whole project from scratch, Dome, developed on Unity3D. As project lead and lead artist I was in charge of the document design documenting all related with the game development, gameplay, design, mechanics… During the process I was in charge of the whole planning as well as to delegate the graphics related tasks to my team. I also was in charge of employees and external services hiring and contacting companies to settle down the deals the development required (audio, animations, communication,…). Finally, together with the rest of the team leaders, I worked as a connection between the development team and management.

NOTE: Dome Open Beta will be soon available. Until then, it can only be shown in private sessions.
